Yoga at work and play

🐳 Yoga works to alleviate the number one work related health problem, namely stress. So, you can opt Yoga brake instead of coffee break at your work area.

🐳Get up from your desk and move around every one hour, take deep breaths as often as you remember to. Take your eyes off the screen periodically and look into the distance. Move your eyes left and right,up and down. As much as possible, keep aware of your posture while sitting at your desk. Through Yoga, you will be more productive as you increase the blood flow to your brain, which makes it easier to concentrate and think clearly.

🐳 During your lunch, break getting away from the work space, take some form of physical exercises, preferably outdoors, will boost your energy levels.

🐳 Repetitive stress injuries such as Carparal Tunnel Syndrome can be avoided by staying alert to what body needs in order stay healthy.

🐳 Drinking more fluids, especially water, balances your mind and emotions as it hydrates your body.

🐳 Chronic pain, hyper tension,and headaches are all stress related ailments that can effect absolutely everyone at work.When stress and pain are gone, productivity and creativity return. This is the logic of bringing Yoga and meditation into the workplace.

🐳 Competition brings out the best in us, and it brings out the stress,too. Meditation is the great stress reliever. But with yoga and meditation ,stress relief is only the starting point. Yoga and meditation help us to stretch mentally, too. Meditation is simple process, but the benefits are immeasurable.


🐳Before you begin meditation try to find a peaceful, quiet location that's free of any distractions.

*Sit on the ground in a comfortable position, crossing your legs and keeping your tailbone to the ground.

*Close your eyes and visualize in a peaceful place, focus on the sensations you might feel- such as light breeze on your face and body.

*Imagine your body is being surrounded by a warm and radiant white light, cosmic energy.

*Inhale slow, steady breaths through your nose and imagine yourself breathing in the light.

*Allow your body and mind to relax as you exhale slowly through your nose. Remain in this position for as long as desired


🐳The more you are in touch with your inner strength and your ability to be aware in the present moment, the more capable you are of reaching your personal best.
