How Ashtanga Yoga minimizes the impact of the stress on the individual

🍂 Main aim of Yoga is to restore the mind to simplicity and peace, to free it from confusion and distress. It gently rejuvenates the physical body (Annamaya Kosha). Yoga frees the mind from negative feelings caused by the pace of modern life.

🍂The mind is the vital link between the body and consciousness or 'chitta'. Chitta encompasses the mind or 'manas', intelligence or 'buddhi', and ego or 'ahankara'.

🍂The mind does not have an actual location in the body (Astral Body). It is latent, elusive, and exists everywhere.

🍂The mind desires, wills, remembers, perceives and experiences. Sensations of pain and pleasure, heat and cold, honour and dishonour, are experience and interpreted by the mind.

🍂 practicing Ashtanga Yoga gradually encourages the seeds of awareness and discrimination to take root, giving rise to a positive attitude and mental equalibrium which gives you the ability to recognize situations what they are, and to deal with them.

🍂 Ashtanga Yoga has code of conduct which has eight steps; Yama, Niyama, Asanas, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi.

🍂Yama explains the codes of ethical behavior to be observed in every day life. Niyama is the positive current that brings discipline.

🍂Asanas, Pranayama, and Pratyahara pave the way to good health.

🍂Dharana, dhyana, and samadhi towards the liberation of the self by practicing 'Samyama'.

🍂By adopting Ashtanga Yoga principles in practice one can pave the Yogic path to natural health where the joints, tendons, tissues, cells, muscles, nerves, glands and each system of the body must all be in a state of perfect balance and harmony and results in the perfect equilibrium of the body and mind, intellect and soul.
