They include fresh and dried fruits, pure fruit juices, raw or semi boiled vegetables, salads, grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, honey, whole meal breads, herbal teas, fresh herbs, milk and butter. A sathvik diet is easily digested and provides maximum energy, increasing vitality, strength and endurance. It promotes cheerfulness, serenity, and mental clarity, and helps to maintain poise and nervous equilibrium throughout the day.
