Core stability and strength from Yoga

🌸Stay fit is the ability to do what we reasonably want to with our body, in a physical sense. We want to celebrate of our active living and its positive effects on our bodies, our health and enjoyment of life. Whatever our age, we want to be able to walk, move, or lift as much as is appropriate to our needs of moment, in work, shopping, looking after children, gardening or travelling. It is in fact, a celebration not of the actual age but of 'Body age', which is what really counts.

🌸The definition of older person varies not only according to place but also time. A recent, sensible set of definitions by gerontologists re draws the age boundaries.

50 to 65 are Mature; 65 to 75 are Senior; 75 to 90 are Elderly and 90 to 115 are Aged.

The reason for these new definitions is the population explosion in the older generation and we are all living longer due to increasing in the standard of living as well as quality of living.

🌸Though different schools of thought in existence in learning Yoga techniques across the globe they're like rays of light from one sun.

🌸The key to health and awareness is in becoming conscious of the action of breathing and controlling it's flow. Breathing is both an involuntary and voluntary action. In general, most of us do shallow breathing which deprives the body of vitality. This ineffective way of breathing lead to fatigue, stress, and worse.

🌸The Yogic breathing is terrific anti anxiety breathing practice, which allows you to take a step back from any of your cares and worries. You will practice being a passive observer, not needing to react against or interact with any issues or concerns. It reminds you that you are pure, perfect and complete just as you are. We realize there is actually no need to change anything at all in order to experience wholeness and serenity.

🌸By taking deep, slow breaths you can expand lungs by about eight times per minute , the lungs are filled completely and the diaphragm is fully engaged. There is strong and automatic connection, when you establish a habit of deep breath in and breath outs, with Pituitary and Pineal glands.

🌸If you take breathing rate less than eight times per minute, the Pituitary starts secreting fully. If the breath rate less than six times per minute, the Pineal gland starts for effective functioning, which paves the way for core strength and stability.

🌸 Yoga goes with you wherever you go, because all it requires your willingness to practice.
