Can Yoga "reap " peacefulness , happiness and kindness

šŸ Imagine a world, where all humanity experiences the benefits of the Yoga and people are touch with their inner centers, have healthy bodies and meditative minds, and make decisions on their higher awareness.

šŸIn order to "reap" peace on our planet, we have to " sow" peace in our hearts, through forgiveness, through remembering the good in every thing that happens and learning from our mistakes.

šŸ Whenever you feel peaceful or give selflessly to others, you help to strengthen the energy of peace around us. A practice of Karma Yoga can take you there. When you perform selfless act of service, with no attachment to the outcome. Your actions , however simple or complex, are done with a pure intent and your best efforts. Being detached from the outcome of your efforts acts purify you of the usual cravings or aversions associated with the human experience. Caring for children, supporting a sick friend or simply doing your job to the best of your ability with a meditative mindset.

šŸ Karma Yoga is a spiritual discipline and that is considered as a path to self realization in its own right. Karma is a law of nature that's expressed by "as you reap, so shall you sow". Altruism is a form of karma yoga. Studies of volunteering, a form of altruism, show that we stay healthier and even live longer when we volunteer. It appears that altruism may be part of our neural wiring, in that we find it intrinsically pleasurable to help others, and doing so promotes social attachment and bonding. This mechanism actually seems to work both ways- altruistic acts promotes happiness, and those who are happy are more likely to be kind.

šŸ Every humanitarian and spiritual organization has an aspect of non profit making service. Many of these service organizations are adapting Yoga, breathing exercises, and meditation in the form of stress reduction exercises (yoga), and mind focus techniques (meditation)

šŸIf you are experiencing grief, there is a specific sequence to transform the feeling into freedom and renewal through Yoga. For anxiety, there is a sequence to transform this into the courage to move forwards, and so on.

šŸProgressive doctors have started to recommend, as a alternative medicine, Yoga to patients, especially when their complaints relate to nervous tension, weight gain, high blood pressure,or heart problems.

šŸ Meditation and visualization, stress management, group support meetings, and following a low fat vegetarian diet (satwik aharas) are also included as alternative medicine to address the chronic ailments referred above.
